CAIRO – 1 December 2017: Real Madrid has started the process of replacing its current goalkeepers. Real Madrid is not happy with their current two goalkeepers, Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla. They are currently considering a total renewal in the goalkeeper position for next season.

Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois are the current contenders for the position.

Negotiations for Bilbao’s Kepa are currently ongoing, and it is said that Kepa could be joining Real Madrid as early as winter. Meanwhile, the top two choices to join Real Madrid in the summer are David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois, according to the Spanish website Sport. Two goalkeepers that Real Madrid has been following for some time, but have never been able to hire.

For one reason or another, both Courtois and De Gea have been unable to sign for Real Madrid before.After Navas and Casilla’s poor performance this season, Real Madrid is pressuring Courtis and De Gea to decide.
