CAIRO – 30 November 2017: The Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah led Liverpool to thrash Stoke City (0-3) on Wednesday night at the Bet365 Stadium in the 14th round of the English Premier League, and remains to be the top scorer of the Premier League with 12 goals.

Salah, who came off the bench in the 67th minute, was able to continue his scoring streak and net two goals against Stoke; the first goal was scored by Sadio Mané, in the 17th minute.

The Egyptian footballer now hopes to continue his streak to reach former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba's, 29 goals, which is the highest tally from an African player in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool now sit in fifth place with 26 points, with one point ahead of Burnley (sixth place) and two points away from Arsenal (4th place), which ended its game against Huddersfield Town with a landslide (5-0) at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool will play on newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, while Stoke City will host Swansea.
