Cairo Runners to host event on December 1 in Heliopolis

CAIRO – 28 November 2017: In collaboration with the United Nations (UN), Cairo Runners is organizing a five-kilometer short run and a ten-kilometer long run to raise awareness for AIDs on December 1, 2017 in Heliopolis, Cairo (Almaza Garden).

Cairo Runners is an Egyptian organization that arranges marathons and running competitions throughout Egypt. According to their official website, they “exist to spice things up and break the season runs routine! Events such as relay races, amazing races and heritage runs are always a fun way to mix exercise with teamwork and challenge. They also give us the opportunity to explore our city from a new perspective.”

Cairo Runners posted an official statement on their Facebook page, saying:
