CAIRO – 26 November 2017: Manchester United captain Michael Carrick admitted suffering from a heart problem, which was why he had been out of the game in the past.

Michael Carrick has been out of action since September 20. He last played for Manchester united two months and four days ago in a match against Burton Albion in the FA Cup.

Michael Carrick tweeted a statement through his official account on Twitter declaring his situation and why he is not playing with the Red Devils.




The 35-year-old played 43 games for the England national team. He moved to Manchester United in 2006 from Tottenham Hotspurs, winning five Premier League titles with the club.
