CAIRO – 26 November 2017: Spanish international striker Rodrigo Moreno renewed his contract with Valencia until June 30, 2022, as reported by Valencia.

Valencia revealed that the footballer has already signed his contract extension, and that he has raised his termination clause to €120 million ($143 million).

Valencia stated in an official statement on their official website, “Valencia CF and Rodrigo Moreno put pen to paper to his contract extension until the 30th of June 2022, with a buyout clause set at €120 million. The Spanish international with the Spanish senior side makes his fourth season at Valencia CF.”

The striker signed for Valencia in June 2015 from Benfica after paying €30 million. His contract ended at the end of the next season, so he has extended it for three more years.

After two seasons, he has recovered his best version this season with Marcelino García as Valencia`s coach. He has scored seven goals in twelve league games and has been called back by the Spanish national team.
