Cairo - 24 November 2017: The French club Lille has announced "momentary suspension" of Argentinean coach Marcelo Bielsa and has not given more details about what is involved.

"LOSC has decided today to momentarily suspend Marcelo Bielsa from his coaching duties as part of a procedure initiated by the club," the club said in a statement on Twitter.

The amount of time for the suspension is unknown. We also do not know what led the French club to this decision. Lille struggled in the French League this season, with only 12 points in 13 matches and lost 3-0 when they visited Amiens in a postponed game from the eighth round of the French league.

Marcelo Bielsa himself said after the defeat that "we had everything in our favor to win and we lost. The result is fair because we attacked without creating danger and made mistakes that gave chances to the opponent."
