CAIRO – 23 November 2017: “The Ministry of Youth and Sports has completed all preparations for viewing the 2018 World Cup draw to the public through various clubs and youth centers,” Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz stated in a press conference Wednesday.

The 2018 World Cup draw will take place on December 1, 2017, at State Kremlin Palace in Russia. The draw will be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, delegations from the participating countries and some of the football historic symbols.

Abdel Aziz stressed on the ministry's keenness to allow the public to watch the World Cup draw, as it is scheduled to be broadcasted on a scrambled channel. Egyptians are awaiting to see the national teams that Egypt will face in the World Cup in the unique event that Egypt has not participated in for more than 28 years.
