CAIRO – 21 November 2017: Real Betis suffered a devastating 5-0 defeat on Monday at Eibar Stadium – the fifth loss for Real Betis in La Liga this season.

Real Betis is the second club in La Liga to concede 25 goals, behind Las Palmas, which has conceded 30 goals.

According to statistics, Betis hasn’t conceded this number of goals during the same season since 1965.

Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adán became the goalkeeper with the second most conceded goals in the competition (23 goals), after Eibar goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic with 25 goals.

Despite these statistics, Betis is ninth on the table with 17 points. It’s worth mentioning that Real Betis defeated Real Madrid 1-0 in the current season of La Liga.

Betis was interested in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere last summer. They would be willing to bring him in the winter market if the transfer could be closed at an affordable fee.
