CAIRO –18 November 2017: Germany's Shkodran Mustafi scored Arsenal's first goal against Tottenham at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Mustafi headed a cross from Mesut Özil to score for the Gunners, before Alexis Sanchez added the second goal from a pass by Alexandre Lacazette.

With this goal, Arsenal scored their 17th goal from a header in 2017, more than any other club.

Özil has also added to his record of 45 assists with Arsenal in the league, more than any other player since he joined the Gunners.

After winning against Tottenham 2-0, Arsenal is one point behind the Hotspurs and has jumped to fifth place in the table with 22 points.

The North West derby is one of the most competitive games in the league, as both teams’ fans look to each other with disrespect and hatred.

Arsenal will face FC Köln on Thursday in the Europa League group stage, and Tottenham will play against Dortmund in the Champions League group stage.
