CAIRO – 12 November 2017: Álvaro Morata, striker of the Spanish National Team, celebrated the comfortable triumph of Spain against Costa Rica (5-0) in Malaga and assured that the style of play of the national team is hopeful.

Manchester City midfielder David Silva scored twice as Spain coasted to a 5-0 win over Costa Rica in Saturday's friendly at La Rosaleda in Malaga.

Jordi Alba gave Spain an early lead before Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata netted a second from close range.

Silva struck twice at the start of the second half as Costa Rica were overrun before captain Andres Iniesta capped an impressive team performance with a late fifth as Spain extended their unbeaten record to 15 matches.

"Ultimately it seems that we are making the rivals worse than they are, we played a very good match against Italy and Costa Rica, too, the truth is that when the national team starts to play like that, it's nice," defended Morata.

The Chelsea forward regretted not having taken advantage of a clear goal opportunity "you have to put it in such a case" and said that being part of the team "is a pride."

"Now we have to continue working to prepare for the World Cup," he added.
