CAIRO – 7 November 2017: West Ham United announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with Scottish coach David Moyes to manage the team for six-months.

Moyes will succeed Croatian manager Slaven Bilic who had been sacked on Monday after his poor start with the team in the Premier League.

“I am really looking forward to meeting the supporters, being in the stadium with them and seeing them get right behind the team, and I am also looking forward to meeting my team," Moyes told the press after signing his contract.

Moyes added “We need everybody with us. It is a big job we have in hand now but, with everybody together, I am sure we can get the right results between now and the end of the season."

Moyes has a great experience in the Premier League; he managed Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland.

West Ham faces a difficult situation in the league this season as they are in the 18th place with only nine points.
