Cairo - 05 November 2017: Liverpool, sixth in the Premier League table, won 4-1 on their visit to West Ham in round number 11 of the Premier League, which puts pressure on their rivals for the Champions League position.

With 19 points, the Reds have the same as Chelsea (fourth) and Arsenal (fifth), who have complicated matches this day against Manchester United (second) and Manchester City (first), respectively.

Mohamed Salah opened and closed Liverpool’s win; first he scored in the 21 minutemark in a counter-attack in which he received Senegalese Sadio Mané in the area, to beat the rival goalkeeper. Then he closed the 4-1 win with a mid-low shot, also after being assisted by Mané, who came back after a month's leave due to a lesion in the adductors.

Liverpool scored its second goal at minute 24 thanks to the Cameroonian of German origin, Joel Matip. Argentinean Manuel Lanzini scored the only goal for West Ham thereafter.

The third for the Anfield team at London Olympic stadium was sealed by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the minute 56.

Since the 4-1 defeat against Tottenham, Liverpool have reacted with three consecutive wins, taking into account also the Champions League, where they are the leaders of this group.
