CAIRO – 31 October 2017: Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star of Real Madrid, is trying to recover from the painful defeat suffered by Real Madrid on Sunday against Girona. It was a painful defeat that put Real Madrid eight points behind Barcelona in the Spanish League (La Liga 2017/2018), prior to Madrid team's visit to Wembley.

Cristiano Ronaldo was touched after the game in Girona and this has been demonstrated during the training session held by Real Madrid at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas. The training was preparation for the next match against Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League, where the first position of the group is at stake.

Despite this, Cristiano Ronaldo has tried to send a positive message of hope to the followers of Real Madrid and their followers through social networks. "POSITIVE Mentality" is what the player has written on his social media networks after the defeat of Real Madrid against Girona, where the Portuguese striker did not perform well.

Cristiano Ronaldo returned unmarked and is still facing the same problem of being unable to score, with a single goal in the Spanish League.
