Kluivert: Salah is a complete footballer

CAIRO – 30 October 2017: Patrick Kluivert expressed his admiration for Mohamed Salah, saying the Egyptian player has all the attributes of a solid footballer.

Kluivert is currently in Egypt for an advertising campaign and was interviewed in front of the pyramids, where he spoke highly of Salah.

“Salah is a great player. He can play on either side of the field very well,’’ he said on Sunday.

“Salah is considered an ambassador for Egypt. He played for big clubs like Chelsea, Roma and Liverpool and has the talent to play for the world’s top teams,” he said.

“He has all the attributes of a solid footballer, but he does not play on his own. There are 10 more players on the same team,’’ he added.

About the Egyptian national team qualifying to the World Cup, Kluivert said, “I think it’s a great accomplishment for Egypt to be in the upcoming World Cup in Russia.’’
