Egyptian National Karate U21 Team travels to Spain for championships

CAIRO – 23 October 2017: The Karate team left Cairo International Airport on Monday morning to participate in the World Championships; the National Karate Team of Juniors U-21 represents Egypt in the 2017 WKF Junior, Cadet & U-21 Championships, taking place from October 25-29 in Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Spain.

The Egyptian delegation for the World Championships consists of 36 players, in addition to head of the Egyptian Karate Federation Ayman Farghaly, as head of the mission.

The players are: Karim Waleed, Mohamed Salah, Yousef Mowafi, Ali Usama, Rowan Gamal, Ahmed al-Ketbi, Mostafa Mohamed al-Ghobashi, Mahmoud Amr, Abdallah Hisham, Omar Ashraf, Taha Tariq, Asmaa Magdy, Shahd Ehab, Toqa Hisham, Menna Shaban, Malik Gomaa Salama, Abdallah Mamdouh, Mohamed Omar, Aya Hisham, Ferial Ashraf, Aisha Abdel Rahim, Ahmed Ayman, Abdel Rahman Hatem, Nourhan Mohamed Sweidan, Yasmin Nasr al-Juwaini, Habiba Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Yousef Mahmoud Abdel Razek, Ziad al Gharib, Reem Ahmad Ramzi, Salma Nessem al-Shafei, Nour Ashraf, Ziad Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Mo'men Ahmed Said, Ahmed Ragab al-Masry, Radwa Sayed, Aya Salah, and Israa Nabil.

The mission is scheduled to arrive in Madrid at 3 p.m., and will then take another three hours to Santa Cruz where the mission's residence is.
