CAIRO – 20 October 2017: Keylor Navas, Real Madrid's Costa Rican goalkeeper, has been injured again. Navas has relapsed from the injury he had suffered with the national team of Costa Rica in the last round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. He did not participate in the training on Thursday and Friday, so Real Madrid has confirmed the injury.

Navas’ situation has been confirmed as he suffered an injury in the right adductor. Although Real Madrid has not been informed of the approximate time the goalkeeper will be down, it is estimated that he will be out between 10 and 15 days.

This is the same area of injury in which he had suffered when he returned from the Costa Rican team.

Navas will be out for the next match on Sunday against Eibar in the Santiago Bernabéu. His position will be occupied by Kiko Casilla, while Mohamed Ramos will be the second goalkeeper.

An injury that could provoke a new misunderstanding between Real Madrid and the national team of Costa Rica since Navas has a friendly commitment to Spain next November 11 and his presence is at the moment in check.

Real Madrid hopes for Navas’ quick recovery, specifically for the match against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League at Wembley.
