CAIRO –19 October 2017: WWE signed a talent development contract with Jordan's Shadia Bseiso, making her the first Arab woman from the Middle East to have the chance to become a star of WWE.

“I am honored to be the first woman from the Middle East to contract with WWE,” she said. “I've been to the training center in Orlando and I was at the Mae Young Classic. I saw personally the power of WWE and the passion of its fans, and I am waiting to begin my career to become one from the WWE stars.”

Bseiso, a Brazilian Jujutsu expert, was attracted by WWE's talent selection in Dubai earlier this year after sending invitations to specific people.

The talents included 40 men and women from the Middle East and India, all of whom had a variety of sports backgrounds. They included weightlifting athletes, rugby players and footballers, amateur wrestlers, MMA amateurs, and fitness experts.

Bseiso, thanks to her athletic abilities and self confidence, has the opportunity to begin her training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in January.
