CAIRO –18 October 2017: Real Madrid seems to be suffering a lot this season despite the winning many games. The numbers confirm that the team is going through a difficult period and has already lost its most prominent weapon.

It is a common practice that emerged strongly last season, in which the Royal Club depends heavily on crosses and headers, which scored a lot of goals; however, the numbers prove that their weapon has been lost since the beginning of the season.

Real Madrid has scored 40 goals from headers in the last season, unlike the current season, when the team failed to score any goal from a header.

According to Marca newspaper, the team made 93 crosses and made 120 corner kicks without scoring any goals by headers. There was a serious chance in the last Champions League game, with a header by Benzema, which Hego Lloris responded to brilliantly.

On the other hand, it is the worst start for Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu since 1998. The last match ended with a draw against Tottenham 1-1 in the Champions League.

The team has played 14 games this season; it tied in three and lost one. They recorded 29 goals, but in the last season, in 14 games, the team scored 43 goals.
