CAIRO – 18 October 2017: Liverpool’s Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah was selected the best player of his team's match against Slovenia's Maribor in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Salah, 25, scored 2 goals and provided an assist to lead his team to destroy their opponent 7-0.

Liverpool tops group E with 5 points, as the Reds had draws in the first two games in the group against Sevilla and Spartak Moscow before achieving their first win on Tuesday.

Liverpool’s Twitter account chose Salah as the “man of the match”, posting his photo to celebrate one of his goals, with a comment saying, “He only needed less than an hour.”

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp substituted Mohamed Salah in the 57th minute when Liverpool was leading 5-0 and as the team already secured three points.

Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool this summer from Italian club Roma, and since then, he had an amazing performance with the team, scoring 8 goals in all competitions.
