CAIRO –15 October 2017: Egypt’s Hossam Ghaly and Essam el-Hadary participated throughout the full 90 minutes as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Taawoun 2-1 in the sixth round of the Saudi League.

In the 38th minute Pereira scored Al-Nassr’s first goal as he went past Hadary and shot the ball into the back of the Egyptian’s net.

Just five minutes later, Al-Hadji Kamara scored the equalizer for Al-Taawoun from a close range following a ground cross by Jehad Al-Hussain, making it 1-1 in the dying moments of the first half.

Seven minutes after the break, Pereira doubled the result as he unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the box, which could not be stopped by Hadary.

Both teams failed to score further goals until the match ended.

Following the match, Al-Nassr currently occupies the 5th place with 12 points, while Al-Taawoun sits 10th with 5 points only.

It is worth noting that Al-Nassr will face Ohod on the 19th of October, while, Al-Taawoun will face Al-Faisaly on the 20th of the same month.
