CAIRO – 13 October 2017: Liverpool German midfielder, Emre Can praised his Egyptian teammate in Liverpool, Mohamed Salah after his amazing performance with Egypt against Congo at 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

“It’s crazy. I saw a few videos from the game and how the fans reacted. It was a penalty in the 95th minute. I’m very happy for Mo, he is the King of Egypt!” Can told Liverpool’s official website on Thursday.

Salah scored twice in Egypt’s 2-1 victory over Congo to secure Egypt’s qualification to 2018 World Cup in Russia after 28 years of absence. Egypt last qualified to the World Cup in 1990 in Italy.

Can added “he is a very good guy. He is an amazing signing for us and I hope he will score a lot of goals in the next few weeks as well.”

Salah scored four goals with Liverpool in the Premier League that helped the club be in seventh place with 12 points after seven matches.
