CAIRO –12 October 2017: Al-Masry beat Misr Lel-Makkasa 3-2 on Thursday in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Masry is on the top of the league, with 12 points, while Misr Lel-Makkasa is in the penultimate position with one point.

The game began with enthusiasm, and John Antwi scored the first goal for Misr Lel-Makkasa. Before the end of the first half, Islam Abu Salima scored the equalizer for Al-Masry, exploiting the mistake of the goalkeeper.

Al-Masry took control of the second half, and Ahmed Shukri scored in the 62nd minute after receiving a cross from Mohammed Hamdi and putting the ball in the back of the net.

Misr Lel-Makkasa succeeded in returning to the game, and John Antwi scored the equalizer in the 69th minute, after Hussein Al-Shahat’s cross from the right wing.

Al-Masry grabbed the winner's goal after Bancé’s shot rebounded from the keeper, when Ahmed Eid Abdul Malek shot it and scored to snatch three valuable points to his team.
