CAIRO – 11 October 2017: Most football talents in Egypt are honored after they retire and finish their job. This is due to the perception that African players have been somewhat late to the party in terms of making an impact on the global stage.

One of these talents is Ahmed Fathy, the Egyptian Al Ahly defender.

Ahmed Fathy has won every possible title with his club and the national team. However, he had a dream that he only recently achieved – qualifying with the Egyptian national team to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
