CAIRO – 10 October 2017: The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Tuesday a list of the best 11 players of each field position, according to their performances in the fifth round of the 2018 World Cup African qualifiers.

Egyptian stars Mohamed Salah and Ahmed Hegazy were mentioned in the perfect squad, which was unveiled by CAF on its official website Tuesday morning.

The stars have been glowing as the leaders of the Pharaohs; delivering it to the World Cup after defeating Congo 2-1 in the fifth round of qualifiers.

The best 11 also included another four Arab players. The list is as follows:

Goalkeeper: Khadim N’Diaye (Senegal).

Defenders: Abdullahi Shehu (Nigeria), Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal), Ahmed Hegazy (Egypt), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco).

Midfielders: Victor Moses (Nigeria), Percy Tau (South Africa), Youssef Msakni (Tunisia), Mbarak Boussoufa (Morocco).

Forwards: Khalid Boutaib (Morocco) and the Egyptian hero Mohamed Salah.
