CAIRO – 9 October 2017: Arsenal has set its eyes on Anthony Martial, Manchester United`s striker, and would have to sign him after doubts on his stay at the club of Old Trafford.

Arsenal sees the French striker as the ideal substitute for Alexis Sánchez, whose continuity in the London club is ruled out, and would be willing to present an offer in excess of €35 million ($41 million), according to Mirror.

Citing reports in Spain, it says they are eager to "take advantage of Jose Mourinho's reluctance to hand Martial a starting spot" by bringing him to Camp Nou.

The France international has started only once in the Premier League this season, but has amassed five goals in all competitions, and the Mail reports that Barcelona believes “he is good enough" to succeed for them.

The 21-year-old Martial, who has his third season at Manchester United, has been pushed aside by Marcus Rashford, so José Mourinho would not close the door to his transfer, both for sporting consideration, as well as economic and social.

Mourinho knows that Manchester United’s fan is more identified with the players from the youth team, like Rashford, who personalize the last big bet of the club.

Martial's departure would not mean a catastrophe for the Portuguese coach, but, in addition, economically would serve to finance new signings in his future project.
