Egypt will host African Gymnastic Championship

CAIRO – 7 October 2017 – The International Gymnastics Federation gave Egypt the honor of organizing the 2017 African Gymnastics Championships.

Ihab Amin, vice president of the Gymnastics Federation, confirmed the approval of the International Federation for giving the organization of the African Gymnastics Championship for adults and youth to the Egyptian Federation. The tournament will take place in 2019 and will qualify the winners for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

This came after the request made by the Egyptian Gymnastics Federation earlier to host the African Championship.
