CAIRO – 30 September 2017 – The world's top ranked squash champion, Nour El Sherbiny, will fly to the United States on Tuesday morning, as she will take part in the U.S. Open Squash Championship, the world's first Grand Prix, from October 7-15.

Nour El Sherbiny has won second place at the U.S. Open Squash Championship twice. The first time was in 2014 and the second was in 2016. This time, Nour will enter the tournament searching for the first title in the history of Egypt in women's competitions, as Egypt has won second place four times before.

On the difficulty or ease of the draw, Nour confirmed that all matches are difficult because of the convergence of the level between all the players, and those who want to win the title have to defeat all the competitors.

Nour will start her first match against compatriot Maryam Metwally on Saturday in the round of 32 of the tournament.
