CAIRO – 28 September 2017: Coach Mauricio Pochettino believes his striker Harry Kane is a more solid player than Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ken scored a hat-trick on Tuesday, leading Tottenham to a 3-0 victory over APOEL FC in the second round of the Champions League.

“Ronaldo is a great player, and Harry Kane is too,” he said, Marca newspaper reported.
“He's probably better now than Ronaldo because he's younger,” he added.

“All the strikers at that level are super and score a lot of goals, and Harry has that ability.”

Tottenham are set to meet Real Madrid in the next two rounds of the Champions League.

Kane scored 19 goals in all competitions in 2017, more than any other player from the Big Five leagues.

Kane is the second English player to score in four consecutive Champions League matches after Steven Gerrard, and has scored 34 goals in 30 games in 2017.
