CAIRO –26 September 2017: Egyptian national handball team goalkeeper Karim Hendawi “Katunga” starred with Beşiktaş in the second round of the Champions League.

In a match against Metallurg, Hendawi was a main reason for a 31-27 win. Thanks to several crucial saves from the Egyptian goalkeeper, the team defeated their competition.

The win over Metallurg was a historic result. It was Beşiktaş’s second win away at the Champions League.
