CAIRO – 25 September 2017: Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal trained on Monday in Abu Dhabi as the club prepares to face Iranian club Persepolis on Tuesday. They will meet in the AFC Champions League’s first leg at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi.

Al Hilal chose Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium to host the decisive game. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) decided to move the games and clubs from Saudi Arabia and Iran to neutral venues.

Al Hilal players will not miss their fans, because Al Hilal fans are expected to travel to the UAE to support the club, along with the expected support from Emirati fans.

Al Hilal played alongside Persepolis at the group stage. They played two matches, both of which ended in a draw.

Al Hilal depends on a massive attacking scheme consisting of Omar Kharbin, Carlos Eduard and Nicolas Milessi, while the team will miss Nawaf El Abed due to an injury.

It is good to mention that the second leg is scheduled for October 17 at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman.
