Sports min. congratulates Egyptian Taekwondo player on silver medal

CAIRO – 24 September 2017: Youth and Sports Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz Sunday congratulated the Egyptian Taekwondo player Seif Essa for winning the silver medal at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Morocco.

In a post on his Facebook page, the minister expects that Egyptian Taekwondo players Essa and Hedaya Malak, who scored the bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, will compete for a medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olyampic Games.

The 19-year-old Egyptian Taekwondo player has snatched the silver medal after losing in the final by 6-7 to Ivorian Player Cheick Sallah Cisse in the men's-80kg division at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix.
