CAIRO – 23 September 2017: Antonio Conte, Chelsea`s coach, spoke at the pre-match press conference at Stoke City in which he highlighted the qualities of Álvaro Morata, Chelsea`s striker. The coach is confident that the striker can fill the gap left by Diego Costa, as he sees him as a complete player.

“Tactically, physically, technically, he’s very committed during the training sessions; his behavior is always fantastic. He is a very polite player; I like this. Also, I like that he’s a good finisher, and he feels the goal in every moment,” Conte said, according to Goal.com

Despite the good words that he dedicated to the striker, he believes that he lacks aggressiveness, saying, “He is a really good guy; a polite person. However, this is a process for him. When I speak about a lot of room for improvement, it also means this aspect – to be more aggressive.”

The Italian coach also talked about Morata's education off the field, and he would not mind being a part of his family. “He’s very good in understanding which is the best position in the box to receive the ball and to anticipate where the ball is going. He’s a really good guy. He’s the sort of guy who you would let a daughter marry,” he joked.

"I'm not interested in talking about the past," Conte replied when asked about Diego Costa. "I think the past is not important - for every player, the past stays there; if you did well in the past, okay," he added.
