Goalkeepers compete for Puskás Award

CAIRO –23 September 2017-Ten players, including a woman, are competing for the 2017 Puskás Award for the Best Goal of the Year.

Arsenal's French striker Olivier Giroud, with a goal against Crystal Palace, is at the top of the list of candidates for the award.

The list also includes Juventus's Mario Mandzukic, with a goal against Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League, and the goal of Deyna Castellanos, the Venezuelan player, against Cameroon at the World Cup.

The award, which was won last year by Malaysian Mohd Faiz Subri, is due to be delivered next month in London.

The following are the top ten candidates for the prize:
