CAIRO – 22 September 2017: Shams FM, Tunisian Radio channel, has revealed that Moez Ben Cherifa, Esperance Sportive goalkeeper, is ruled out of Al-Ahly clash.

Al Ahly faces Esperence in Rades, Tunisia at the African Champions League quarter finals second leg. The first leg ended with a 2-2 draw in Alexandria on Saturday, September 16.
It is reported that the Tunisian international had a surgery on Wednesday, 20 September and he will be back to his team after 10 days from now.

Moez was one of the best players in the 1st leg clash as he saved his team from real chances which could change the final score of the match.

The 26-year-old has won the Tunisian league for two times (2010-2011). He also won the Tunisian cup with Esperance in 2011. Finally, he won the CAF Champions league trophy in 2011.
