CAIRO – 21 September 2017: All the top clubs in England found their way to the next round in Carabao Cup as they all secured an easy win in their games.

Manchester City did not give up the first round of the English League Cup and overcame an intense second half by beating West Bromwich with two goals from Leroy Sané, City`s winger.

However, City’s Manager, Pep Guardiola benched his biggest stars, Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Kevin DeBruyne, Benjamen Mendy and Nicolas Otamendi, and started with a strong line-up consisting of Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane, and City’s wonder kid, Phil Foden.

In the other matches of the day, Manchester United defeated Burton Albion 4-1 at Old Trafford, while Chelsea found it easy to qualify to the second round by beating Nottingham Forest 5-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal won over Doncaster 1-0 thanks to Theo Walcott’s goal, while Everton returned to their form after poor performances in the Premier League by beating Sunderland 3-0.

However, Liverpool didn`t make it because they lost to Leicester City in Leicester’s stadium, King Power. Liverpool’s suffering continued and their manager, Jurgen Klopp has to focus on his team if he wanted to hold a title at the end of the season.
