CAIRO –21 September 2017: The Egyptian international star Mohamed al-Nenny contributed to his team's qualification for the 16th round of the EFL Cup, after beating Doncaster Rovers 1-0 in the match held at the Emirates Stadium in the third round of the tournament.

The only goal for Arsenal came from Theo Walcott at the 25th minute after a game from Nenny, who passed to Alexis Sanchez, to pass a long volley to Walcott who finally scored the goal.

The game was played by Nenny for 90 minutes, with Jack Wilsher, who is taking part with Arsenal for the first time in the starting lineup this season, after returning from loan to Bournemouth.

The Egyptian midfielder had joined the Gunners Arsenal in January, participated with the team in 40 occasions in all tournaments, assisting and creating three goals and scoring a single goal in the last season.
