CAIRO – 19 September 2017: Leicester City will face Liverpool in the third round of the Carabao Cup (England EFL Cup) on Tuesday at the King Power stadium.

Both teams are looking to this clash to undo their poor performance recently in the Premier League. Liverpool have drawn two matches and had one defeat while Leicester city have lost two matches and drew one game from their last three.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to make his debut with Liverpool as he didn`t start any of the last three games. Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

"It's a fantastic opportunity now for Alex. He had an impact when he came on," said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

"We have enough games for the players to get rhythm. It's not easy early in the season," Klopp added.

"It's just because we play different to Arsenal," Klopp said, explaining why it is hard for Alex to develop with Liverpool.

Leicester has had a hard time at King Power stadium against Liverpool as they failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last 12 League Cup games.

Moreover, Jamie Vardy, Leicester`s striker, is a major doubt for this clash as he had an injury in the draw at Huddersfield in the Premier League.

A lot of substitutes in both teams are expected to feature in this clash as it is a great opportunity for both managers to test their bench strength.
