CAIRO – 18 September 2017: Egypt Youth tennis team has won the Silver medal in the African Junior Championship U-12. The tournament was held in Morocco, which was organized by the Confederation of African Tennis.

Egypt Youth team has been represented by Hady El Kordy, Ahmed Shebl, Abdelrahman Amr, Lina Osama, Jermeen Sherif, Leila Shokry.

Tunisia has won the Golden medal and Morocco won Bronze in the same tournament.
The ITF/CAT African Junior Championship for 14 years and Under on Clay Courts (AJCCC) will take place in Egypt from September 25-30, 2017.

This Championship is open to African players of both genders, playing under the jurisdiction of their National Federations affiliated to the ITF and the CAT, holding a passport from an African country, born between the January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2006 and reached their 11th birthday before the Championships starting date September 24, 2017.
