CAIRO – 17 September 2017: Manchester United ended the fifth game week of the English Premier League with a superb 4-0 victory over Everton. United sits at the top of the table with Manchester City, sharing the same number of points and goal difference.

Antonio Valencia took the lead with a wonderful shot to make it 1-0 for Manchester in the first half.

Everton started to press United`s back line and made some real chances but De Gea was there defending his net.

Three goals in the final seven minutes from Manchester United by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial blew Everton away in a 4-0 win on Wayne Rooney's return to Old Trafford.

Antonio Valencia, who scored a stunning opener for United, has been named man of the match.

Romelu Lukaku is the fourth youngest player in history to score 90 Premier League goals.

Manchester United`s stats at Old Trafford so far this season are huge. They won four matches and managed to score fourteen goals without conceding any goal.

"We could have scored more in the first half. We weren't clinical enough. Everton created problems in midfield and the manager gave us tips at half-time on how to sort it," Romelu Lukaku told Sky Sports after the match.

"In the second half, Everton had a lot of control but quality was the difference in the end."
Manchester United have now beaten Everton 34 times in the Premier League, more than any other team in England.
