CAIRO - 15 September 2017: The English club Stoke City announced on Thursday that they reached an agreement with their striker, Mame Biram Diouf, to renew his contract with the club until 2020.

Diouf, 29, joined Stoke City in 2014 from the German club Hannover. Since then he became a regular player in the Stoke City squad.

“We signed Mame as a striker and over the last 12 months he has proved his versatility in a number of positions,” Stoke City chief executive Tony Scholes told the club’s official website.

Scholes added, “he’s an extremely important member of Mark’s squad and we’re delighted he has committed his future to us.”

Diouf participated with Stoke City in 99 games, scoring 19 goals since joining the club according to skysports.com

Diouf, born in Senegal, has had a long journey in the Premier League. He joined Manchester United in 2009 from the Norwegian club Molde. He also played for Blackburn Rovers on a one year loan from Manchester United.
