CAIRO -11September 2017: Bivest Wits’s manager, Gavin Hunt, believes that Amr Gamal’s goal was the reason for losing the game against Cape Town City on Sunday at the second leg of South African Cup semi-finals.

“The first goal we conceded was out of nothing. I'm disappointed, there's not much I can say." Hunt told press after the game according to kickoff.com.

Bidvest was leading the match 1-0 before Amr Gamal scored a goal to equalize the game, then Cape Town City scored the second goal in the second half to qualify to the South African Cup Final.

Hunt added, “We let ourselves down; they were never in the game in the first half. We let them into the game with an own goal. In the second half we were there but never had enough. It wasn't enough; the final pass was not good enough. You gotta give them credit, they worked their socks off.”

Gamal’s poor performance forced Hunt to substitute the Egyptian striker during the half time. Cape Town City won the first leg 1-0.
