CAIRO - 6 September 2017: Every player in the Egyptian national football team will be awarded about LE 16,000 ($907) on Wednesday for winning the match against Uganda, held Tuesday at Borg Al Arab stadium in Alexandria.

The current technical manager of the national team Héctor Cúper will be awarded LE 36,000 ($2,500).

Egyptian national team players are incentivized by the state to perform with LE 16,000 awards for every victory in Egypt and LE 20,000 for every victory abroad.

Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s winger, scored the only goal in the match. Egypt’s 1-0 victory over Uganda qualifies Egypt to the fifth round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Egypt’s next match is against Congo on October 8.
