Cairo – 4 September 2017: German central midfielder for Juventus and the Germany national team Sami Khedira has bought 1,200 tickets for disadvantaged kids to attend the Germany vs. Norway match on Monday.

Khedira, 30 years old, announced that he has bought the tickets to the match for local disadvantaged kids or kids with cancer as an attempt to support and encourage their country in the World Cup qualifiers, which will be held in Russia in 2018, according to American sports channel ESPN.

He distributed the tickets through about 15 charity organizations, according to the official German Football Association website.

"With the organizing support of my family, we enable young people, who would not be there otherwise, to attend the match," Khedira said.

Khedira didn’t join the match between the Germany national team and the Czech team last Friday due to his injury, but it was expected that he will join the match against Norway on Monday.
