Rafael Nadal wins third round in US Open

Cairo – 4 September 2017: Rafael Nadal beat Leonardo Mayer in the third round of the 2017 US Open, held in New York city from August 28 to September 10.

Rafael has scored 3-7, 6-3, 6-1, 6-4, after three hours and 16 minutes against Leonardo Mayer as an attempt to fight back against the loss of first set .

"I don't know how many break points I had before I got the first one. Mentally, I fought a lot until that moment, then I think I played better." Rafael Nadal told BBC radio

The Spaniard is about to dominate the US open 2017 as he defeated Leonardo Mayer in the last three matches .

Nadal’s victory qualifies him to the fourth round to meet Swiss professional tennis player Roger Federer in the semifinal next week .
