CAIRO – 2 September 2017: The Ghana and Congo match draw with one goal each, relieving most Egyptians, especially in the national team camp as the dream of qualifying to World Cup is now renewed.

There was a state of relief at the national team camp in Borg Al Arab after they knew the result of the match between Ghana and the Congo Brazzaville, which was held in the city of Kumasi, Ghana, in the third round of the fifth group which includes Egypt in the African qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Egyptian team entered the camp without rest in Borg Al Arab in Alexandria after defeat Thursday with a single goal and no reply from Uganda in the third round of World Cup qualifiers. Borg Al Arab’s camp is in preparation for the game against Uganda in the fourth round which is scheduled for Tuesday in the fifth round of 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
