CAIRO – 30 August 2017: The Egyptian Volleyball federation is preparing for the upcoming African Cup of Nations that will be held in Egypt through deciding location of Egypt’s preparation camp.

The President of the Volleyball Federation Fouad Abdel Salam will pick the location of the camp from the following four nations: Brazil, Bulgaria, Turkey and Italy. The next period will see the final decision taken in order for the national team to travel to the selected country either in the last week of September or the first week of October.

It is good to mention that the following players were selected to represent the national team: Abdallah Abdelsalam, Hossam Youssef, Ahmed Kotb, Mohamed Mowad, Abdelhalim Fahim, Mohamed Adel, Abdelrahman Soudi, Abdelrahman Said, Ahmed Said and Ahmed Hamada from Al Ahly SC. Ahmed Fathy, Ahmed Salah, Mamdouh Abdel Moneim, Omar Nagiub, and Ahmed Abdelaal from Talea El Geish. Mohamed Mohsan, Mostafa Ibrahim, Mohamed Reda from Zamalek SC. Hesham Yousry (Tayran SC), Ahmed Dia (Sporting SC), Marwan Atef (Smouha SC) and Ahmed Galal (Gezira SC).
