CAIRO – 29 August 2017: Nebojša Jovovic, Zamalek’s new manager, spoke to Zamalek’s players on August 28 after the team’s training.

Speaking to the players, Jovovic talked about the main guidelines in the upcoming period, his coaching style, and the reasons behind why he left his successes at Al Faisaly SC to manage Zamalek SC.

Jovovic started by saying, “Commitment is very crucial in the upcoming period. I will not tolerate any player who won’t be committed. Whoever isn’t committed will be removed from the squad.”

Jovovic added, “I won’t change the way I work. I know there are a lot of newcomers and there are players who came back as loans along with the people who stayed in the squad from the last season. I know that harmony will be very difficult in the beginning.”
He continued, “I didn’t leave my achievements at Al Faisaly SC to come fail here. If I didn’t believe that I would succeed, I wouldn’t have come from the beginning.”

Jovovic concluded, “You have to show that you are quality players that deserve to wear Zamalek’s shirt. I won’t accept the failure of last year. Lastly, you have to be accustomed to winning in every game.”

It is worthy to note that Russian coach Nebojša Jovovic, aged 41 years old, led the Jordanian Team Al Faisly to win the national League and Cup.
