CAIRO - 27 August 2017: Ehab Lehita, Egyptian National Team manager believes that Smouha defender, Mahmoud Ezzat will be ready against Uganda in 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Lehita told Egypt Today on Sunday.

“Ezzat was injured when he joined the Egyptian National Team camp, he had knee problems but he received proper treatment in the last few days and he is ready to play against Uganda,” Lehita told Egypt Today.

Ezzat joined the Egyptian National Team after Zamalek defender, Ali Gabr, suffered an injury and had to be excluded from the decisive matches against Uganda.

On the other hand, Egyptian Manager, Hector Cuper is awaiting the arrival of Lens left back, Karim Hafez from France to start preparing with the team.

Egyptian National Team staff reached an agreement with the French side, Lens to allow Hafez to join the Egyptian National team and miss Lens match in the French League second division on Monday.

Egypt faces Uganda at Kampala on August 31 before both teams meet again at Borg al-Arab Stadium in Alexandria on September 5.
