CAIRO – 26 August 2017: Radja Nainggolan, AS Roma’s midfielder spoke on August 26 about the rumors that spread claiming that he will retire from playing international football.

According to Goal, Nainggolan slamed Roberto Martinez, Belgium’s manager, after not picking him in Belgium’s squad for the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers. The midfielder was set to announce his retirement from playing international football, according to several reports.

Nainggoaln shot down the rumours via his twitter account saying "if something official is to be said, you will hear it from me. I'm just disappointed. I have not decided anything at all.”

On his relationship with Belgium’s manger Nainggolan said, “ Actually, I was in the same restaurant as Martinez in Ibiza. He did not say hello or goodbye, neither did I. How can you work together like that,” reporting from Goal.

Nainggolan is considered to be one of the world class midfielders who managed to help the Italian club AS Roma come second place in the Italian League last season.
