CAIRO –26 August 2017: Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s star player, spoke about his successor in the early hours of August 25.

Talking to reporters, Ronaldo addressed who he thinks will be his successor following his retirement. Madrid’s icon also talked about the four teams that are expected to be in the semifinals of next year’s Champions League.

Speaking about a potential successor, Ronaldo said, “I see some with great potential: Asensio, Mbappé, Neymar, Dembele, Hazard, Rashford ... and some others. In the next generation, there are at least 10 players with very, very great potential,” citing from Goal.

Ronaldo concluded, “The teams are the same every year – Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Paris Saint Germain, Juventus. I do not expect any surprise this year. Four of these teams will be in the semi-finals,” according to Goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned the best player in Europe in the UEFA’s ceremony on August 24.
